Bruce Truax, the President of Diffraction Limited Design LLC, has more than 30 years of optical engineering experience. Trained formally as an optical engineer, Mr. Truax has an exceptional knowledge of mechanics, electronics and software. This broad range of skills provide a system's engineering perspective to all projects, a perspective which is critical when designing optical instrumentation.

In addition to design services DLD-LLC also offers training courses in optical testing and interferometry. Mr. Truax has designed, integrated and operated Zygo interferometers for much of his career.
